A Case of Kartagener's Syndrome.

We experienced a case of Kartagener’s syndrome in a 15 year-old male patient who showed bronchiectasis, sinusitis, and situs inversus by X-ray and physical examination. We report a case of Kartagener's syndrome and a brief review of literliture was done.

The authors experienced a case of benign cystic sacrococcygeal teratoma in a 2 month-old female infant. The cystic mass was located at presacral area without external presentation, causing left renal hydronephrosis and ureterectasis. Surgical excision of the mass was performed successfully. The literature regarding the subject was reviewed.

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is characterized by hamartomtous polyps of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach, small bowel, and colon) and mucocutaneous pigmentation (lips, oral mucosa, fingers, forearms, toes and umbilical area). About 50% of the reported cases have a positive family history of autosomal dominant mode of inheritacnce, whereas the remaining 50% are sporadic. We observed a case of congenital hypoplastic anemia in a 10 month old male patient who was diagnosed through bone marrow aspiration. This steroid-unresponsive patient has been maintaining a concentration of hemoglobin compatible with health from supportive transfusion therapy. A brief review of related literature was made.
